It’s Your Year
“Out with the old, in with the new.”
We say it all the time, but it takes a lot of willpower to pull it off – to promise yourself that you won’t revert back to your old ways and instead, to focus on the new, positive intentions you’re setting for yourself.
Perhaps you’re trying to set new goals for yourself. Maybe you want to create a five-year financial plan. The important thing is that you’re ready to make a positive impact on your life. You’re gearing up for your most exceptional year ever. What more could anyone ask for?
Sometimes it’s hard to embrace the first part of the quote, “Out with the old.” We naturally want to have the best of both worlds: the old and the new. In reality, it’s hard to change your ways. You may have heard of people who say that when one door closes, another one opens.
We’ll take that a step further. In order to open that next door, you have to close the other one. You can’t have both doors swinging wide open when you’re trying to pave a pathway to success and happiness.
If you are at a point where you’re ready to open that new door wherever it might lead then this program will prepare you for success!
There are all kinds of reasons for our motives. We’re not trying to pinpoint the cause for your motivations. That’s something personal. Instead, we can help you along the way so that you stay on track toward obtaining your goals.
This program will take you through 6 rules for your greatest year ever, from setting goals to taking the action needed in order to reach them. We will start with review, and then we’ll cover preview, prepare, set goals, take action, and adjust.
Buckle up and get ready for all the good that is coming your way!
At some point, we all get to a point in our lives when we say, “Enough is enough!” We decide to change everything at once. We spend a weekend planning all the changes we’re going to make:
✓ We create lists.
✓ We create schedules.
✓ We’re determined.
Monday comes, and we do okay. There are few hiccups, but we have a good day. Tuesday might even go okay.
By the time Friday comes and goes, we’re a mess. We’ve failed on every front and are feeling even more angry and helpless than we did before.
The challenge comes from trying to do too much at once. There’s only so much change you can handle at one time. The only way to change a lot is to change a little at a time and accumulate a lot of small changes over a longer period of time.
