Making Your Graduate Program Easier

Long-Term Support | Research On-Demand

Four Types of Support

One of the most daunting aspects of completing a dissertation or thesis is the research. The bottom line is that your study will only be as strong as the underlying references that support it. In addition, the process of identifying, collecting, and analyzing a sea of literature can be incredibly time consuming. Having an expert researcher pull the information together for you allows you to focus on analysis and writing instead of searching endless databases. Imagine receiving a package of relevant focused data without the frustration and hours it would take to gather the information yourself. In addition, as you project evolves additional support will be there if you need it. You don’t have to take this on alone.

There are four types of support available to help you with the success of your graduate program. The type you choose will depend on where you are in the process and your specific needs. Below are short descriptions of the different types of support. Each can be customized based on your needs and budget. There are no long-term contracts,  and as your needs change so can the level of support. Having the right support improves the quality of your dissertation or thesis while making the process faster and less stressful.

Full Dissertation or Thesis Support

If you want comprehensive research support for your graduate work this is the level of engagement you need. I work closely with my clients throughout the process to clearly define research goals, objectives, and timelines. Having the right literature to work with makes the writing process easier and faster, and increases the credibility of your work. The level of support can change based on the needs at each phase of the study. It’s great to have a resource you can work with as you go through the process.

Research On-Demand

For those who want to do the bulk of the research themselves but occasionally need help extending a search or meeting a deadline research on-demand is the way to go. For example, if you want to identify the seminal and currently published authors on international entrepreneurship I can pull a list of the authors together for you. If you would like a list of their articles, a copy of those articles, or even pre-screening of the articles I can do that as well. Basically, any level of support you need I can provide on-demand and in a timely fashion.

Coursework Support

Work in graduate programs often requires resources that include journal articles, data driven information such as demographics or industry statistics, or expert opinion. I am adept at pulling together a wide range of relevant and academically sound information to support a complex paper or assignment. I do not write or edit papers or projects, but can provide you with the dots you can connect to create an epic piece of work.

Secondary Research for Publication

Some graduate students pursue being published while still in graduate school. Different options include conference papers, book reviews, or journal articles with a co-author or without a co-author. There are a lot of advantages of publishing in graduate school including working through a key concept in your field of study, and building your CV and reputation in the academic community. Dangers of publishing early include being distracted from your primary goal of completing the program, and taking on even more stress. One way to improve the process and reduce the stress is to have me research similar articles and the most current related literature. Again, I will pull all the right information together for you, and you can then connect the dots.
